Cookie Notice

Effective date: June 14, 2026 Last updated: September 2, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how GONEW AI S.R.L. ("we", "GoNew.ai") uses cookies and similar technologies on the GoNew.ai website. It complements our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (for example your login state) over a period of time.

Our approach to cookies

By default we use the minimum set of cookies necessary to operate the Service. Anything beyond that happens only with your consent:

Declining is as easy as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time (see "Managing cookies").

All cookies are first-party (set on gonew.ai by us, by our authentication provider Supabase, or, only after consent, by the Google Analytics script operating on our behalf). Google Tag Manager itself, which loads the analytics script, sets no cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Service to function (for example keeping you logged in). Under EU law these do not require your consent, but we list them transparently above.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will break core functionality (you will not be able to stay logged in, purchase premium, or access your reports).

Analytics

We use two analytics tools with different rules.

Vercel Web Analytics (https://vercel.com/docs/analytics) runs by default because it is cookieless: it does not set cookies, does not collect personal data, does not track users across sites and does not use fingerprinting. It collects only aggregated, anonymized data such as visitors per page, referrer, country (derived from IP, which is not stored) and browser type. The provider is Vercel Inc. (USA), which also hosts the platform. No consent is required for this processing.

Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, runs only after you accept analytics cookies. It helps us understand which pages and steps lead people to a free report, to a paid plan or to Career Companion. It records page views, product events (for example a report generated or a plan purchased, with its price) and technical context (device, browser, approximate location derived from IP; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses). The data is processed by Google Ireland Limited, with possible transfers to Google LLC (USA) under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Event data is retained for up to 14 months. If you decline, the Google tags do not fire at all: nothing is sent, no cookie is set.

If you accept, we may also use the same consent to measure conversions from our own advertising campaigns (Google Ads). We do not use third-party advertising networks and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.

Third-party services

When you upgrade to premium, you are redirected to Stripe (our payment processor). Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout page for fraud prevention and session management. See Stripe's cookie policy at https://stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.

Managing cookies

You have two ways to control non-essential cookies:

Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the Service.

Changes to this notice

We may update this Cookie Notice as our use of cookies evolves. Material changes will be announced on our website. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change.
