The guides published on this site are generated by our proprietary career intelligence engine — the same technology that powers the personalized reports in our Career Shift and Pathfinder products — and editorially reviewed before publication.

Skills-match scores

The score expresses what share of the target role's typical requirements the average person in the source role already covers, weighted by transferability. We deliberately calibrate conservatively: most cross-functional transitions land between 35% and 65%. Inflated scores would make every page identical and useless.

Salary ranges

Salaries are estimated ranges for the market named in each guide (annual EUR for European markets, net monthly RON for Romania) at the career level indicated. They are directional, not guarantees — actual pay depends on city, company, and negotiation. Where a transition typically involves a temporary income dip, we say so explicitly.

Timelines and recommended steps

Timelines assume consistent part-time learning alongside a job (8–12 hours per week) and reflect typical journeys, not promises. Certifications and resources mentioned are well-known market categories; we receive no commission for any recommendation.
